Chisara Asomugha is an award-winning multidisciplinary literary and performance artist based in Los Angeles, CA and local to Chicago, IL and NYC. Fluent in English and Italian, she has been performing on stages since the age of 5. After a career as a pediatrician, she studied at the Michael Howards Studios in NYC and graduated months before the pandemic and does ongoing acting classes with the Anthony Gilardi Studio in LA. She has acted on NY and LA stages and sang professionally while living in Italy. She is a 2023 California Arts Council Fellow for her work in the literary and performing arts. She is currently seeking commercial and theatrical representation.
